AIMS AND OBJECTIVES >

FFA has been envisioned on the premise of making agriculture into a profitable occupation, resurrecting the farmer, and restoring his dignity and social equity.

CREDO >

Agriculture is the primary growth engine of the economy, providing employment to over 70% of the population. Farmers constitute the driving force of this sector. The pace of progress of India is contingent upon the development of the agricultural sector and enthusiasm and efforts of the farmers. As such, farming must be accorded highest priority and extended adequate thrust, support and encouragement, and the living standards of the farmers improved to sustain a health economic growth rate.

VISION >

FFA envisages accelerating the all round development, economic viability and sustainability of agriculture to reduce the gap between urban and rural, organized and unorganized sectors in terms of growth, guaranteed income and quality of life, and to improve the standard of living of Farmers, Agriculture labour and Rural artisans.

MISSION >

FFA will evolve powerful and proactive strategies and action plans to mobilize public investments in infrastructure development while providing greater impetus to private investment. It will lobby with governmental and non governmental bodies and institutions to support strategies and plans that help accelerate the growth of the rural economy. Latest information technology and biotechnology practices will be implemented to better the lot of the farmer.
